Citrus Heights United Methodist Church has just received a Beulah Older Adult Grant to use to enhance the quality of life for older adults.
The Beulah Older Adult Grant Fund is administered by the Beulah Older Adult Committee of the California-Nevada United Methodist Women, and is used to promote programs that serve the needs and uphold the dignity of elderly persons in the California-Nevada Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church.
Citrus Heights UMC is planning to use the grant to purchase: hearing loops, to facilitate better hearing for several worshippers; a lapel mic for the pastor; and a Braille hymnal set for a blind worshipper. They also requested funding for the Heartsong program, which will be scheduled in the fall.
Beulah Grants are awarded each November and funds are distributed in January and July.
