The deadline to register for the "Leading for Vitality and Transformation" workshop, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 22-Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the United Methodist Center in West Sacramento is Monday, Oct. 15.
Don't delay! Pastors, ministry teams, and lay leaders are encouraged to attend.
Leadership is a lifelong process of recognizing what is valuable and worth keeping in one's context, adapting to the changes that must be made to encourage vitality and growth, scanning for new challenges (and then improvising responsibly in response to these challenges), orienting one's values and principles in the real world, and accepting that change and transformation requires loss as well as gain.
In this two-day workshop, led by the Rev. Doug Anderson, we will continue this lifelong process of learning by taking an honest look at ministry in the 21st century, and the challenges we confront as a faith tradition seeking to reclaim our vitality in the wider communities we are called to serve.
$65 registration fee includes lunch and dinner on Monday and lunch on Tuesday.
Register on line now at www.cnumc.org/register (or click on the "Registrations" tab on the Home Page of the California-Nevada Annual Conference website).
