Register by Saturday for Fellowship of UMs in Music, Worship Arts Event in Woodside

The California-Nevada chapter of The Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts (FUMMWA) is hosting a one-day event featuring composer Joel Raney, on Saturday, Sept. 29, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., at Woodside Village Church in Woodside, California. 

Spend the whole day with Joel Raney reading new releases, classic anthems, and favorites that are purchased year after year.
You also will have the opportunity to attend one of four workshops: 
  • Scriptural Drama, with the Rev. Pamela Abbey, pastor of Pittsburg United Methodist Church;
  • Worship Visuals, with Ralph and Agnes Buell from Centennial United Methodist Church;
  • Using Worship and Song, with the Rev. Dorothy Straks, Minister of Music at Woodside Village Church;
  • Conversations with Joel Raney. 
You will go home with a packet of 33 anthems compliments of Hope Publishing Company, and a pew edition of Worship and Song, compliments of the Cal-Nevada chapter of FUMMWA. 
Pastors, musicians, visual artists, and worship leaders are encouraged to attend.
Registration fee of $25 per person includes a buffet luncheon. Checks should be made payable to FUMMWA.
Registration deadline is Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.
