UMVIM Leader Seeks Mission Opportunities in Fiji

September 20, 2012

Phil Bandy, interim director of the United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM) office of the California-Nevada Annual Conference, is in Fiji to explore opportunities for mission.

His liaison is Virisila Batiratu, a lay member of Centennial United Methodist Church in Sacramento, who has been in Fiji for more than a month, working with the people there to document requests for mission partners.

Just before leaving for the airport, Bandy outlined the purpose of the Sept. 18-27 trip for Instant Connection's camera. Watch 1 min. 11 sec. video at right.
