It's time to register for the upcoming Certified Lay Minister (CLayM) classes. Cycle 2 of CLayM@Home will begin Monday, Sept. 3. Retreats will take place Oct. 13-14 and Dec. 1-2 as a part of this course.
CLayMAway, the residential program, will run Oct. 29-Nov. 2 and Jan. 21-25.
Applicants must have their complete application package to their district superintendent two weeks before the start of classes. Download application materials here, or contact CLayM Coordinator Perry Polk at firstname.lastname@example.org or 707.422.4595 to request that they be mailed to you.
The most recent CLayM graduates received their certificates during Laity Session at Annual Conference Session, June 20. Polk described the program, and a graduate who now is serving a local church told what it has meant to her. Watch 12 min. 44 sec. video above.
