Used Book Sale at ACS Nets More Than $500

July 12, 2012

The California-Nevada Annual Conference Commission on Archives and History is grateful for the wide variety of books contributed by clergy and laypersons at the Annual Conference Session, June 20-23, and for the many persons who purchased the items.

The used book sale brought in $532.
Approximately 100 books remained unsold, and these have been donated and shipped to a seminary and another school in the Fiji Islands, thanks to some laypersons from Centennial United Methodist Church in Sacramento.
The $532 will help with shipping costs for the books, with any leftover funds going to support the Conference Archives and History Center at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley (under the supervision of Conference archivist Dr. Stephen Yale).
