PSR Announces Summer Session Offerings

May 17, 2012

Preaching, politics, radical Jesus, church renewal, LGBTQ theologies, "praying the body," Bishop Spong, community organizing, and much more: Do we have your attention yet?

It's all at Pacific School of Religion (PSR) this summer, and you and yours are invited! Take a weeklong class for personal enrichment, CEUs, or academic credit. Attend a free evening lecture. Worship, learn, explore … Head to Berkeley this summer!
PSR is a progressive Christian graduate institution with strong ties to The United Methodist Church. This summer, PSR is offering more than 20 courses from July 2 to August 10, either on line or at its campus in Berkeley, California.
The curriculum includes courses in religion, spirituality, theology, and leadership, among other subjects, as well as special writing courses, and free weekly lectures.
Summer Session is designed with the needs of laypeople, practicing clergy, and seminarians in mind. Courses may be taken for clergy continuing education units (CEUs), audit, or academic credit. There are several courses that would be suitable for congregational formation – perhaps congregations or lay study groups might be interested in attending together!
