Reminder: Cornerstone Community UMC Celebrates 23 Years of Ministry, April 29

April 26, 2012

By Pastor Joan Pell

Cornerstone Community United Methodist Church in Rocklin, together with Great Northern "On the Rise" Circuit, invites everyone to join with us in worship on Sunday, April 29 at 3 p.m. as we mark and celebrate 23 years of ministry in Rocklin.
The service will include a special offering to be divided between The Gathering Inn, which is the homeless shelter in our local community, and Path 1, the church-planting movement of The United Methodist Church, to be used in the California-Nevada Annual Conference.
We will conclude with the deconsecration of the building. The congregation has signed the deed for the property over to the Conference Board of Missions and will be petitioning the Annual Conference for discontinuance in June.
As we take leave of our building, we have many things for sale, and a short time span. If your church is in need of any of the items below, please contact us THIS WEEK (by May 7 at the latest) at or at 916.624.5534.
