Cal-Nev Pastor Adds Course to UMCom's Online Training Site

March 22, 2012

The Rev. Sung-Ho Lee, pastor of Concord United Methodist Church in Concord, California and a contributor to the Catch Fire in 50 Days study guide, has added the course "Disciple Making Process" to United Methodist Communications' (UMCom) Online Learning Center website.

The course will guide participants, step-by-step, to a lifelong mission – a mission to live simply, sharing and serving. Participants will examine their values, viewpoint, and vision in order to find their purpose in life. At the end of this course, they will be able to say, "This is my lifelong mission."
"I focus on studying the Bible and sharing what I learn with as many people as possible," writes Lee. "I found out that an online Bible study is one way to reach many more people than the traditional Bible studies held in a classroom. So I took Moodle 100 and 101, and developed the course, 'Disciple Making Process.'
"I pray that my online Bible study can help many people all over the world," he adds.
To register for this course, go to Click on the "California-Nevada Annual Conference" link, the first link under "Other Course Categories," located at the bottom center of the Online Learning Center home page. Rev. Lee's course is the second one listed on the California-Nevada page – just below the Rev. Tom Butler's "Let Her Keep It."
