If you're a pastor or worker with youth, please mark March 23 and 24, 2012 on your calendar: Those are the dates for the Conference's annual Youth Workers' Retreat, taking place in Glen Ellen, California. This event is FREE and sponsored by the office of Young People's Ministries.
In 2012, guest facilitator at the retreat will be Gavin Richardson, a fellow youth worker who is considered an innovator in ministry with youth and the church. Richardson is a writer, community builder, social media anthropologist, self-defined "church misfit," and unabashed family guy. He will be leading participants through a weekend that's sure to offer insights, vision, and a plan for shepherding our young people to a deeper faith and radical mission.
You'll come away with new understandings of millennial research and the National Study on Youth and Religion, digital resources to building relationships and ministry, and plans and ideas for new ministries to implement with your youth community.
It will be an awesome time of fellowship, support, and information for the youth worker(s) in your local church, so please encourage them to attend!
