Website and Social Media Training at Palo Alto to Be Streamed for Pay-Per-View

United Methodist Communications and the California-Nevada Annual Conference Communications Office have teamed up to offer website and social media training at four locations, this week. Paul Keogan (below) of Back Office Thinking in Pennsylvania, a consultant group and frequent UMCom collaborator, will provide hands-on training to help participants achieve a vibrant web ministry – regardless of their individual starting points.

The three-hour workshops will be offered:
Fri. Oct. 14
8:30-11:30 a.m.—Sparks UMC, 1231 Pyramid Way, Sparks, NV 89431
2-5 p.m.—UM Center, 1276 Halyard Drive, West Sacramento, CA 95691
Sat. Oct. 15
9 a.m.-noon—FUMC Modesto, 850 Sixteenth Street, Modesto, CA 95354
2-5 p.m.—FUMC Palo Alto, 625 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94301
Registration is open at, and walk-ins will be accepted. Cost is $35.
In addition, we will make the final training session – at FUMC Palo Alto, 2-5 p.m. on Sat. Oct. 15 – available to watch live, on a pay-per-view basis. While it won't have the interactive component, if you're unable to attend at one of the four locations, you may find the pay-per-view live stream to be a helpful option.
