Two Opportunities to Hear Jimmy Creech

The Conference Board of Church and Society, the Conference Committee on Reconciliation, and the Methodist Federation for Social Action will jointly host Jimmy Creech at an Annual Conference Session dinner on Wednesday, June 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Pyramid Alehouse, 1029 K Street, Sacramento. He will be discussing his new book, Adam’s Gift – A Memoir of a Pastor’s Calling to Defy the Church’s Persecution of Lesbians and Gays.

However, if you are unable to attend the dinner at Annual Conference Session, Creech also will be speaking at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 2620 Capitol Ave., Sacramento, on Tuesday, June 14 at 7 p.m.
This speaking engagement is free of charge and is co-sponsored by Elk Grove United Methodist Church, First UMC of Sacramento, Saint Andrew’s UMC (Sacramento), Saint Mark’s UMC (Sacramento), and others.
