High Schoolers: 'Meet Jesus in the Streets' This Summer

"See to the welfare of the city where I have sent you…" (Jeremiah 29:7)
Urban Camp is brand new this year! It's based on this simple idea: Most of what Jesus did – whether in the big city of Jerusalem or the surrounding rural areas – happened in the streets, in the houses, in the public places, on the highways and byways of his world. We want to meet Jesus in the streets, too.
We're inviting high school students to spend an intense, fun-filled and powerful four days in San Francisco. Together, we'll visit churches, shelters, sites of mission and social justice work, and meet people who give their all in Jesus' name so that the world might be healed.
Instead of offering a space and place to disengage from our everyday lives, we'll use social networking media to keep connected to people at home and let them know what we are learning as we go. Rather than relaxing in the great outdoors, we will be energized in the brick and concrete. We'll see, experience, and engage with God's spirit moving in the city in relevant ways and hear the challenge God gives us to care for people wherever we are!
Come join us.
