You still may purchase tickets on line to attend Saturday's "Laugh for Justice" comedy fundraiser in San Francisco – but time is running out!
Nationally-acclaimed comedian Jimmy Tingle will appear at Temple United Methodist Church this Saturday (May 7) at 7:30 p.m., in a special benefit performance on behalf of the Bay Area Immigration Task Force (BAIT). BAIT is raising money to hire a specialist attorney for its immigration law clinic, hosted by Temple UMC.
Tingle has appeared on (to name a few) the Tonight Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, American Comedy Awards, and 60 Minutes II (as a weekly humorist/commentator), in addition to starring in his own special on HBO.
He has donated his talents to this special benefit.
Tickets are just $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
To buy on line, click on "Registrations" on the Home Page or go to http://cnumc.org/register and scroll down to "Order (Resources, Tickets) Here."
(Tickets will not be mailed; pick them up at "Will Call" when you arrive at the church.)
Temple UMC is located at 65 Beverly Street, San Francisco, CA 94132. There's plenty of free parking and Temple is convenient to the "M" car and BART.
