Africa University, a United Methodist-Related Institution, is a shining light of ministry, education, and service to many.

Africa University has emerged as one of the continent's leading universities – working closely with excellent universities around the world, collaborating on research projects, and engaging in faculty exchanges.
Since Africa University's first class graduated in 1994, more than 3,500 people have earned degrees related to theology; agriculture; business administration; health sciences; humanities; peace, leadership and governance; and intellectual property.
Most important, graduates embody the university's mission – to become leaders in their communities and countries as they prepare to meet Africa's needs for:
  • Sustainable Agriculture
  • Disease Prevention
  • Peace, Leadership and Governance
  • Education
  • Church Growth and Development
  • Business Management and Administration
  • Ethical leadership
More than 1,200 students from 25 African countries attend classes at the campus in Old Mutare, Zimbabwe while other students connect to the university through its Mozambique-based online campus.
Your gifts to the Africa University Fund support the school's general operating budget – providing faculty and staff salaries and vital infrastructure. Other gifts support scholarships and the endowment fund.
