Apply Now to Be a Youth Delegation Member to Annual Conference Session

March 31, 2011

Annual Conference Session is still two-and-a-half months away – but the deadline to apply to be a Youth Delegation member is coming up quickly!

The California-Nevada Annual Conference is looking for youth, grades 9-12, to serve as voting and non-voting members of a Youth Delegation to this year's ACS, June 15-18.
Youth Delegation members take part in all that is ACS: Plenary and legislation sessions, worship, and fellowship. Being a part of the Youth Delegation provides an opportunity to learn about the works and mission of the many churches and believers that make up our Conference. You'll meet other youth from the Conference and have special educational, service, fun, and fellowship activities planned especially for you.
Registration reminders:
  • To secure your place on the Delegation, your application MUST be completed and submitted with a $100 deposit to the Conference office by May 14, 2011. Last minute applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and could be declined if there are not enough chaperones.
  • Each district is allotted four voting members and additional non-voting members. If the Conference receives more than four applications from a district, the Conference office will review the applications and choose the voting members in order to best represent the churches of the district.
  • Voting members are entitled to reimbursement as outlined in the Standing Rules.
  • All members of the delegation are to be present and must participate in all Delegation activities and sessions.
