Two Opportunities Remain to Hear Ken Sloane

March 10, 2011

You have two more opportunities to attend "Together We Can: Celebrating United Methodist Giving," the inspiring presentation by the Rev. Dr. Ken Sloane, Director of Communications Ministry for United Methodist Communications in Nashville.

Rev. Sloane will be at San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church in Alamo, California this evening (Thurs. March 10) from 7 to 9, and at Community UMC in Aptos, California tomorrow (Fri. March 11) from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Afterward he will participate in the Bishop's Confirmation Retreat at Monte Toyon Camp.
During his tour of the California-Nevada Annual Conference, Sloane already has spoken to the Conference Committee on Finance and Administration and at South Reno (Reno, NV), Lake Park (Oakland, CA), Calvary (San Jose, CA), and Trinity (Colusa, CA) churches – as well as to a meeting of the Central Extension Society at Community UMC in Oakdale, CA.
For the Central Extension Society meeting Tuesday evening (March 8), Rev. Sloane tailored his presentation to focus on communications strategies as he shared the podium with Cal-Nev Communications Director Cate Monaghan. However, he was able to deliver a piece of his "Together We Can" message.
