Active Clergy Are Invited to Attend 'Renew U' niversity, in Washington State in April

The General Board of Pension and Health Benefits and the Center for Health invite all active clergy members from the California-Nevada Annual Conference, along with those in Cal-Pac and the Oregon-Idaho, Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountain, and Yellowstone conferences, to attend Renew "U" niversity, April 5-7 at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, Washington.

At this event, you will be able to:
  • Enjoy a refreshing and rejuvenating two days away;
  • Reflect and assess your spiritual, mental (emotional), physical, social, and financial health;
  • Learn techniques that can help you manage stress and relax more;
  • Share with your peers, worship, and be motivated to set and keep a self-care covenant;
  • Enjoy a professional back massage;
  • Kick back and relax!
Renew "U" niversity classes use the Servant Leadership Self-Care Covenant Workshop curriculum, created by the United Methodist Health Ministry Fund in Hutchinson, Kansas and licensed and distributed by the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits.
The registration deadline is Friday, March 11. Register on line for $139 per person (or $259 with spouse included).
The registration fee includes dinner on Tuesday night, breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, breakfast on Thursday, refreshment breaks each day, and course materials. Lodging is not included, but GBPHB has negotiated a special room rate of $99 (plus tax) per night at the event hotel, and the nearby Holiday Inn Express offers an alternate lodging option of $79.99 per night, plus tax.
