Take Wesley Pilgrimage in England This November

The General Board of Discipleship (GBOD) and General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM) of The United Methodist Church are pleased to announce the 2011 Wesley Pilgrimage in England. The goal of this partnership is to form missional leaders in the Wesleyan tradition.

Pilgrimage leaders are Dr. Paul Chilcote, Dr. Steven Manskar, the Rev. Anita Wood, and Dr. Tim Macquiban.
 
The Wesley Pilgrimage in England will take place November 7-17, 2011 and is:
  • Open to all United Methodist leaders
  • A powerful continuing education experience for Provisional Members, 20 of whom will receive a $1,000 discount off the regular registration fee
  • A rich experience of Christian community in small groups, daily prayer, and Holy Communion
  • An exploration of the missional leadership practices and strategies employed by John and Charles Wesley
  • An opportunity to grow as a missional leader for The United Methodist Church today

The event qualifies for 3 CEUs.
 
Cost includes 10 nights' lodging (six nights at Sarum College, two nights at Bawtry Hall, and two nights at the Royal Foundation of St. Katharine's), meals, ground transportation, and all admission and lecture fees.
 
The Pilgrims will be based at Sarum College, in the Close of Salisbury Cathedral in Salisbury, England.
