Bishop's Challenge Makes 'Youth 2011' Even More Affordable

January 13, 2011

Bishop Warner H. Brown, Jr. is challenging the California-Nevada Annual Conference to send 1,000 participants to Youth 2011 in Sacramento, July 27-31. Youth 2011 is the largest gathering of Methodist youth and happens only every four years.

What's it all about? Watch 47-sec. video with Hank Hilliard, Director of Young People's Ministries Development for the General Board of Discipleship (GBOD), to find out!

Registration is open now, and you have until Feb. 1 to take advantage of "Early Bird" discounts. It isn't necessary to have all the information about who's going; just sign up to say that you'll have a group attending from your church.

And thanks to the Bishop's Challenge, when you use the promo code "SGDD" when registering your group, you'll receive an additional $100 off your final cost, as the GBOD partners with Cal-Nevada to be 1,000 strong at Youth 2011.

Visit the event website at www.youth2011.org to register and for more information.
