Spring 2011 Native American Course of Study Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the spring 2011 classes for Native American Course of Study (NACOS) at the United Methodist Camp near Bloomington, Illinois.

The Native American Course of Study is an extension program of the Course of Study School of Ohio – an educational program established by the Division of Ordained Ministry, General Board of Higher Education and Ministry, United Methodist Church.
The focus of the NACOS is to provide pastoral training for either local pastors who are Native American or for non-Natives who work primarily in Native ministries.
Four courses are offered: (Course descriptions are available to download below.)
COS 314 Pastoral Care & Counseling
March 8-9 & April 5-6, 2011
COS 112 Theology in the Wesleyan Spirit
March 8-9 & April 5-6, 2011 or;
March 10-11 & April 7-8, 2011
COS 513 Our Mission from God: Transforming Agent
March 10-11 & April 7-8, 2011
The tuition fee of $275 per course includes meals and lodging. Each course consists of four days (two in March and two in April).
Registration forms are due February 1, 2011. Make checks payable to NCJ Course of Study School and mail completed registration form, along with a non-refundable registration fee of $25 per course, to Rev. Timothy J. Miller, 3080 Waterchase Way SW, Apt. 104, Wyoming, MI 49519-5912.
