The early bird deadline for Youth 2011 registration is quickly approaching! Churches: Register your youth and youth leaders by Feb 1, 2011 to get the lowest price.
Youth 2011 is the national youth gathering for the United Methodist Church. It's the largest single gathering of UMC youth in existence, an event that only happens every four years – and this time around, it's happening in California-Nevada! This four day conference will bring together top United Methodist leaders, ecumenical speakers, bands, and other talent, with thousands of youth from all around the nation – for what's sure to be a life-changing event.
Youth 2011 will consist of passionate worship experiences, concerts, Bible study, small groups, workshops and trainings, interactive exhibits, onsite mission opportunities, late night fun and games, and much more.
For the first time, the event is being held twice, on opposite sides of the country, to better serve the denomination's youth. Youth 2011 will be held at the Sacramento Convention Center in Sacramento, California July 27-31, as well as at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana (July 13-17). As many as 10,000 combined attendees are expected for the event, so make sure and reserve your group's spot soon.
The line-up of leadership and artists is exciting.
Download poster highlighting some of them, including Fireflight, Kristian Stanfill, Chasen, Philmont, Zach Hunter, Fred Lynch, Jim Walker, California-Nevada's own Motoe Yamada, Olu Brown, Jared Hall, and Scott Erickson – as well as additional information about the event. The Sacramento site's $205/person registration fee will cover all programming and one courtesy meal only. However, a list of discounted hotels is provided on the registration page.
All deposits received before February 1 will secure this per-person rate for a church's entire group, but after February 1 the per-person rate will increase by $35 at both sites.
