Davis UMC Hosts Free Job Search Support Group

November 11, 2010

During these tough economic times Davis United Methodist Church has been searching for ways to support those in the area who have been out of work and searching for a job. It's come up with the concept of hosting a "Job Search Support Group" – a four-session informal small group, facilitated by two skilled, certified career counselors and designed to help people energize their job search.

In addition to providing support for "the trials and tribulations of looking for a job," the group will offer discussion about current approaches to job search, resume writing, and interviewing. Sessions will be on Fridays: November 19, December 3, December 10, and December 17, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at Davis UMC, 1620 Anderson Road, Davis, CA 95616.
Visit the Davis UMC webpage to plan your route using the handy Google Maps feature.
Participation is free but space is limited. To reserve your place in the group contact Constance Stevens, one of the facilitators, at 530.758.5545 or cpaths@aol.com.
