FUMC Roseville Sponsors E-Waste Collection and Car Wash on Oct. 23

October 07, 2010

First United Methodist Church of Roseville is partnering with CEAR, a California State-approved Collector and Recycler of Electronic Waste, to sponsor a FREE e-waste collection event on Saturday, October 23 beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Home and small business desktop and laptop PCs; miscellaneous computers parts and equipment; monitors; televisions (all sizes, but no cabinets or stands); VCRs; stereo equipment; cameras; old telephones and cell phones; printers; copiers; scanners and fax machines; and small household appliances such as toasters, mixers, and blenders will be accepted.
Unfortunately the church cannot accept large household appliances ( including microwaves), furniture of any kind, or household hazardous waste, such as batteries, paint, etc.
A Youth for Life car wash will be held at the same time - so you can drive in your e-junk and leave clean!
The e-waste collection event and car wash will be held in the FUMC parking lot, at the corner of Washington Boulevard and Church Street in Old Roseville, next to the underpass. The parking lot entrance is off Church Street.
