If you missed the Transformational Leadership classes held in Redding and Nevada City this year, there's still an opportunity for both clergy and laity to experience this dynamic and inspiring class. The Great Northern District (West) is hosting Anne Dilenschneider and her Transformational Leadership Seminar, October 15-16 and October 29-30 at Fortuna United Methodist Church.
The seminar consists of two Friday night/Saturday sessions, with a registration fee of $100 to cover the two weekends.
The Rev. Steve Pudinski, Lay Speaking Coordinator for Great Northern (West), says that during a Great Northern District meeting in Yuba City, the district "was charged with again empowering the laity for leadership."
The upcoming Transformational Leadership seminar is "a great opportunity to set the groundwork for our laity to again reclaim the movement of Methodism," he says, and adds, "With Anne's help and guidance, this can be a reality."
Registration and payment must be received no later than October 4 so that training materials may be printed for the class. If you have questions, please contact Pudinski at firstname.lastname@example.org or 707.487.3301.
You also may contact some of those who have taken the class previously, such as the Rev. David Vallelunga at Chico Trinity UMC, 530.343.1497, or the Rev. Charles Smith at Nevada City UMC, 530.265.2797.
Says Pudinski, "We hope to see you in beautiful Fortuna in October!"
Fortuna UMC is located at 922 North St at 10th, Fortuna, CA 95540. To plan your route, visit the Fortuna UMC webpage on the Conference website at cnumc.org and use the Google™ Maps feature!
