The Conference Lay Minister (CLayM) program is now ready to receive applications – both for the traditional program, CLayMAway, and also for the new CLayM@Home, which allows participants to study largely on line or by DVD. The same application will be used for both programs.

It is anticipated that the first cycle of CLayM@Home will get underway by September 1st, with a second cycle scheduled to begin January 1st.

Here's the timetable:

Session 1 Retreat will be held in mid-October
Session 2 should be completed in two (2) months – November through January
Session 2 Retreat will be held at the end of January

Second Cycle

CLayMAway is scheduled for November 8-12 and January 17-21 (The January class is a continuation of the November class. There will be no new entries for January CLayMAway except by special request from a DS.) CLayMAway will be a group setting, with teachers making presentations "live."

Both programs – CLayMAway and CLayM@Home – can result in eligibility for "Certified Lay Minister" assignment, if desired.
