Add Video Content to Your Church's Website at Low Cost

May 20, 2010

Looking to have a video presence on your church's website? One with regular fresh video content? But you don't have the time, the staff, or (you think) the expertise to make that happen? Well, now you do!

In partnership with, the video archive host for the California-Nevada Conference (and the company that provides live streaming video of Annual Conference Session), your church website can have a Conference Media Player which rebroadcasts any or all of the videos on the Conference site, REEL Witness. And beyond that, you can contribute your own content through this video player as well – by simply clicking on the upload button.
At $99/year, it's a low-cost video solution for churches wanting to add "fresh" video content to their website.
Many congregations already are using online video as a way to better connect members of their faith community – and to reach persons who want to know more about the church, what it believes, and what it does. In addition, the "it worked for us" nature of mission projects, from both the Conference and local churches, can serve as an encouragement for others to confidently step up to make the world a better place!
By utilizing the Conference Media Player, inspirational messages from the Bishop, timely pieces about events of interest, ministry highlights, and recorded presentations from Annual Conference Session will be available, on demand, to visitors to your church website – even if you don't have original content to contribute.
OCV will be on site at the 2010 Annual Conference Session at the Sacramento Convention Center, June 16-19. Drop by the OCV display and see Eric Halverson for a chance to win one of OCV's premier video services, and to learn about other special Conference promotions.
