Marriage Enrichment Seminar This Saturday Has a Few Spots Open
April 14, 2010
Event to focus on 'Emotional Intelligence and Relationship Enhancement'
Emotional Intelligence describes the ability and skill to identify and manage emotion in interpersonal interactions. Defensiveness, resentment, and anger keep people from enjoying closeness and intimacy.
At a marriage enrichment seminar in San Jose this Saturday, April 17, 7-9:30 p.m., licensed marriage and family therapists Laura and Ron Steck will lead attendees in recognizing relationship patterns they'd like to change.
They will facilitate collaborative conversations that open up creative dialogue to help attendees learn better ways to talk about issues and solve problems in respectful ways.
Laura is President and Senior Executive Coach at the Growth and Leadership Center, where she works with companies in Silicon Valley to foster team morale, leadership capability, and higher individual performance.
Ron Steck is the Executive Vice President in charge of Coaching and Program Design for assessment, team building, and management training.
The Stecks' marriage and family practice includes insight-building therapy for individuals and couples.
Since the marriage enrichment seminar will take place at a private home it is limited to 15 couples at a cost of $25 per couple.
There still are openings. To reserve your place, make your check for $25 per couple payable to ACME (Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment), and send to:
