Faith in Life Workshop Is in Sacramento in May

Lynn Rhodes, professor emeritus of field education at Pacific School of Religion and author of Mending Severed Connections: Theological Education for Communal Transformation, will be the featured speaker at a Faith in Life Education Series workshop on Saturday, May 8 at Sacramento's Japanese United Methodist Church.

Sponsored by the Office of Community and Continuing Education at PSR, "Faithful Living in Fateful Times: Economy, Sacred Work, and Community" is a daylong (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) exploration of such questions as: How is your faith weathering the storms of our current economic climate? And: Where do congregation and community resources meet to offer hope to families in crisis?
 
Pre-registration fee is $25 ($20 for students), which includes lunch.
