March 17, 2010

United Methodists are invited to join peace-lovers of many faiths (and those with no faith affiliation) for an Interfaith Prayer Circle for Peace and Justice, this Saturday (March 20) at 10:30 a.m. at United Nations Plaza, by the fountain on Market and 7th Streets in San Francisco. It is accessible through the Civic Center Muni/BART station.

If you wish, you also may join the big community rally and march after the prayer service, at Civic Center Plaza at Polk and Grove Streets at 11 a.m.
Please take your group or congregation's banners and signs with you, and if you are clergy/religious you are invited to wear your robe or other religious garb.
This event is not sponsored by one particular group or organization and everyone is welcome to participate.
