CLAREMONT, Calif. - The application deadline is quickly approaching for major M.Div. and M.A. scholarships - including the prestigious University Scholars Award Program - at Claremont School of Theology. Applications for admission must be completed by January 15, 2010.
The University Scholars Award Program at Claremont School of Theology attracts applications from top students from across the nation. The Award provides for 100 percent of tuition and fees, housing, books, and a monthly stipend, carrying an approximate value of $40,000 per year.
In addition, the inaugural Paul and Hisako Terasaki Scholarship will be offered to an entering Japanese American M.Div. student with interests in UMC Parish Ministry. This award provides 100 percent of tuition and fees, housing, books, and a monthly stipend, for three years.
Other competitive scholarships are available, including full tuition awards based on merit and/or need, for applicants who submit their materials by February 1.
