Bishop Sally Dyck Praises Communicators for 'Telling the Story'

October 23, 2009

Bishop Sally Dyck, resident bishop of the Minnesota Annual Conference and president of the United Methodist Commission on Communications, addressed the denomination's communicators at the opening luncheon of the United Methodist Association of Communicators annual meeting.

The bishop, who referred to communications in the church as a ministry of ink, said communications "keep telling the story of Jesus Christ and bring credibility back to the church." Listen to the bishop's address.

Cate Monaghan, Interim Director of Communications for the California-Nevada Annual Conference, attended the UM Association of Communicators annual meeting this week and will share photos and 'tell her story' in next week's Instant Connection.
