Registration Now Open for REFRESH 2009 in Texas This December

United Methodist-related campus ministers and chaplains are preparing to gather at The Woodlands UMC in The Woodlands, Texas, December 14-17, to be inspired, trained, and refreshed.

Registration has been opened for REFRESH 2009, an annual event funded by a grant from The Foundation for Evangelism to offer a time of spiritual growth and refreshment for persons in Campus Ministry.
 
A few highlights for this year’s gathering include:
 
·         A special greeting from Bishop Janice Riggle Huie, Resident Bishop of the Texas Conference. Bishop Huie will join conferees for lunch on Wednesday, Dec. 16.

·         Inspiration from Mike Gaffney, director for Young Life College - a new ministry of Young Life to the university. He has served in campus ministry for 23 years, most recently at The Inn in Seattle, Washington, and is passionate about raising up today's young leaders. ·         Sharon Irving, a full-time worship leader at Willow Creek Community church in Chicago, will be one of the worship leaders at REFRESH 2009.
