Missionary Parker Witnesses 'Miracle of Healing'

September 03, 2009

General Board of Global Ministries' Missionary Katherine Parker writes that the past month has been a busy one, "as usual." Notably, it included the first "Annual Session of the Methodist Mission Conference in Cambodia," for which she was Conference Secretary.

Her mother served as an Individual Volunteer in Mission in Cambodia this summer and the two of them witnessed a "miracle of healing," Parker writes. She has posted details on http://bokashi.blogspot.com, along with a new letter directed at Vacation Church School kids in Bakersfield, California, about chicken raising projects.

Parker, assigned to Community Health and Agricultural Development for the Methodist Mission in Cambodia, is a member of the California-Nevada Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Her home church is Mt. Tamalpais UMC in Mill Valley, California.
