Sign up for ClayM Training

August 14, 2009

Interested in taking part in the Conference Lay Minister Program? Sign up now for the training course in November and January.

ClayM, created as an extension of the Lay Speaking Program to strengthen the ministries of churches unable to support a salaried pastor, is designed for those who feel called to serve in a pastoral leadership role in the church.

Candidates must take CLayM Training, a two-week course that provides tools for ministry, as well as the opportunity to discern one's call and to determine the workability and suitability of becoming a lay minister.

Candidates need to be approved by their District Superintendent to take the course, which is being held at the United Methodist Center in West Sacramento, California November 9-13 and January 18-22, 2010.
