Take GBOD Online Survey on Effect of Economic Crisis

August 14, 2009

The General Board of Discipleship wants to know how the current global economic crisis is affecting practices of worship across The United Methodist Church. In particular, the board is trying to learn how the crisis affects staffing, programming, and the purchase and use of resources by local congregations, Annual Conferences, campus ministries, and other faith communities within the denomination that gather for worship.

To this end, GBOD is conducting a research survey - the findings of which will be published and used by the Center for Worship Resourcing in the coming year, as GBOD plans how best to serve UM churches in and through this difficult time.

Please take the survey, found online at: www.surveygizmo.com/s/164615/4gv6b.

You also will find a link to the survey on the GBOD worship website at www.gbod.org/worship.
