Young Adults: Living Justice Program Applications Due May 1

April 22, 2009

The General Board of Global Ministries' Living Justice Seminar Program each year brings together a small group of United Methodist young adults - ages 20 to 30 - to explore new directions and issues of social justice. The 2009 program, being held June 13-17 in New York City, will focus on the health of women and children, in the United States and around the world.

Learn from leaders in the field and share with other participants from a faith perspective. The intent is to provide young adults who share a commitment to faith and justice with an environment to nurture that commitment, and a place for conversation to begin.

Application deadline is May 1. Space is limited.

"All reasonable costs," including travel within the U.S., lodging, food, and seminar expenses, will be paid by GBGM's Office of Deaconess and Home Missioner. Participants will stay at a GBGM-related guest house in Greenwich Village, with double-occupancy rooms and shared baths.

A commitment to learning and listening is essential. Reference required.
