2009 BMCR National Youth Harambee
The word "Harambee" is Swahili for "Let's All Come Together."
Filled with music, praise, drama, dance, delicious food, prayer, and Bible Study, the National Black Methodists for Church Renewal (BMCR) Youth Harambee offers a wonderful opportunity for young people to indeed "come together" - to explore their God-given gifts and talents and to learn about BMCR's history, purpose, and its focus on equipping and supporting Christian youths.
Register now for the 2009 event, scheduled for July 16-19 at Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas. Hurry - space is limited to the first 250 registrants!
This year's theme is "God's Grace in MySpace."
In four power-packed days, young people will learn leadership qualities to help them become better students and stronger Christians, through fun, no-pressure strategies. Opportunities for creative expression will include talent shows, skits, games, and other activities. Participants will also experience youth-led worship services and activities and much, much more!
