Shasta Camp Fire Presents Opportunity to Help
As you read in Instant Connection, in "Fire at Shasta Camp Destroys Cabin, Injures Caretaker" (written February 25, 2009), Paul Armantrout, Shasta Camp host and caretaker, lost all his earthly belongings in the February destruction, by fire, of his cabin.
While Armantrout's frostbitten feet are healing well, and he is anxious to get back to the camp and his job, an immediate priority is to replace his personal possessions. Local housing is needed, also, until his cabin is rebuilt this summer. Cards and words of support also would be welcomed, as would be cash donations to help him recover the material things that he needs at this time.
Anyone wishing to donate may do so by sending it either to Paul Armantrout, P.O. Box 1064, Mt. Shasta, CA 96067, or to Paul Armantrout, in care of Shasta Camp, 7800 French Creek Rd. Etna, CA 96027 (the address of the Shasta Camp Treasurer).
