February 7 Is Community Work Day at Fair Oaks UMC

January 15, 2009

You are invited to participate in Sierra Service Project's community work day at the Fair Oaks United Methodist Church. The congregation has generously donated part of the church's property to serve as a storage area for SSP vehicles, supplies, and a maintenance area. Participants will do a variety of clean-up work and concrete removal. It should be a fun day of service with old and new friends of SSP!

The work day is scheduled for Saturday, February 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., lunch included. A permission slip is required for volunteers who are under 18.

Please visit the SSP website for details and to download a permission slip. RSVP required.

Sierra Service Project, founded by United Methodist pastors, is a non-profit organization "providing life-changing experiences" to youth and young adults through acts of service.
