Asian American Caucus Elects 2009-2010 Officers

The Asian American Ministry Caucus of the California-Nevada Annual Conference elected new officers, this month, at a meeting at Berkeley Korean United Methodist Church in Oakland, California. Laddie Perez-Galang, who is completing a four-year term as chairperson, offers her thanks and congratulations to those who have made themselves available to give their time and share their gifts—not only to the caucus, but to the entire Asian American United Methodist community.

The new officers (effective July 1, 2009) are:
Chairperson: Rev. Danny Huang - Burlingame UMC, Burlingame (Formosan)
Vice Chairperson: Rev. Paul Joseph Khamdy Yang - Memorial UMC, Clovis (Hmong)
Secretary: Ms. Stella Wu-Chu - East Bay Formosan UMC, Walnut Creek (Formosan)
Treasurer: Rev. Barbara Horikoshi-Firebaugh - Lake Park UMC, Oakland (Japanese)
Chairperson of Nominating Committee: Rev. Gail Chiew - The Good Samaritan UMC, Cupertino (Chinese)
Past Chairperson: Ms. Laddie Perez-Galang (by office) - South Hayward UMC, Hayward (Filipino)
