Bread for the World Has Christmas Cards, Gifts Available

November 13, 2008

As we celebrate this season of hope, Bread for the World invites you to share your hope for a world without hunger by sending Christmas cards that benefit Bread for the World’s work to your family and friends. Two beautiful designs—both dramatic photographs—are being offered this year.

The first features an infant. The photo was taken in the high Andes in Ecuador by Margaret W. Nea.

Margaret is a professional photographer and longtime Bread for the World member. Order here.

The second photo, of a shepherdess in Afghanistan, was taken by artist MNI Chowdhury for Majority World.

Majority World supports the work of indigenous photographers from developing countries. Order here.

The Christmas cards can be purchased for $10 for a pack of 10.

While visiting the Breadstore, you can also find gifts for all the advocates on your Christmas list. Consider giving Bread for the World fair labor t-shirts / canvas tote bags / lapel pins / or scroll pens—or just pick up a few for yourself!

Bread for the World thanks you in advance for your support and advocacy to make our nation’s laws more fair and compassionate for hungry and poor people.
