Bolivia Thanks Cal-Nev UMVIMs by Sending Hurricane Recovery Team to Gulf Coast

South Reno United Methodist Church in Reno, Nevada has dispatched numerous United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM) teams to do work in Bolivia – and the good will the church established there did not fall on fallow ground.

In a reciprocal act of generosity, Bolivia – one of South America’s poorest countries – extended a helping hand in return when Hurricane Katrina struck the U.S. Gulf Coast.
