UMs of South Asian Descent Invited to SANCUM Celebration

All United Methodist laity and clergy of South Asian descent – of all age groups – are invited to attend the Celebration of the South Asian National Caucus for the United Methodists (SANCUM), October 16-18, in St. Louis (Bridgeton), Missouri.

The celebration will take place at the Best Western Airport Plaza Inn and Conference Center, 4530 N. Lindbergh Boulevard, Bridgeton, MO 63044. It will begin with opening worship at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16. The closing session will be Saturday, Oct. 18 at 11 a.m.
Bishop Sudarshana Devadhar will be among the special guests. Superintendents, Council Directors, and staff members of General Boards and Agencies who are of South Asian descent will be recognized, along with other members of the South Asian community in the U.S. who have made significant contributions to the church in this country.
