Homeless Persons' Interfaith Memorial Service

Hi, I am an Elder Appointed To Extension Ministry, serving as a hospice chaplain in San Jose. I am organizing the following event. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 22, 2014 Interfaith Leaders to Honor Homeless Persons Who Died in San Jose in 2014 San Jose, CA—Local Interfaith clergy and leaders will be honoring the homeless persons who died in San Jose in 2014 in a candlelight memorial service. Leaders of the memorial service represent Buddhist, Christian, Islamic, Jain, Jewish, Kriya Yoga, Sikh, and Unitarian Universalist faiths. Homeless people will also be present and will speak during the service. The names of 35 homeless women and men who died in San Jose in 2014 will be read aloud. Silicon Valley Interreligious Council (SiVIC) is cosponsoring this event.
