If you’ve been to Annual Conference Session you know how popular the used book table is. Browsers flock there during breaks and before and after sessions to peruse the selection of gently used volumes that are available for just a small donation ($1 hard cover, 50 cents soft cover). Where do they come from? Well, from you … and you and you and you!
The Conference Commission on Archives and History is asking for donations of used books in good condition. Suggested topics include: Bible interpretation, worship, theology, ethics, pastoral psychology, and church history.
On Wednesday morning of Annual Conference (June 18), suitable books from pastors and churches may be dropped off at the used books table, located on the second floor of the Sacramento Convention Center. You’ll find it near Cokesbury.
Books not sold by the end of ACS will be offered to Union Theological Seminary in the Philippines.
