Israel-Palestine Viewpoints and Dialogue

The Church and Society Commission of San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church in Alamo, California invites you to an information-sharing interfaith dialogue on Israel-Palestine just prior to General Conference.


On Sunday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., hear from Rabbi Dan Goldblatt of the Beth Chaim Congregation, Danville, California and Doug Smith, Chairperson of the Israel-Palestine Task Force of the California-Nevada Conference of the United Methodist Church concerning the current Israel-Palestine situation. With moderated dialogue and written questions from the audience, opportunity will be given to both speakers to share their perspectives.


Light refreshments will be served in the Meditation Garden immediately following the 10 a.m. worship service. Speakers’ presentations will begin at approximately 11:15. 


Childcare is available by reservation only, made through the church office no later than Thursday, April 10.


San Ramon Valley UMC is located at 902 Danville Blvd., Alamo, CA 94507, between the Stone Valley and El Cerro exits off of I-680. (Enter from Danville Boulevard. The Meditation Garden is just to the right of the Sanctuary.)
