UMVIM Spanish Immersion Team forming

December 13, 2007

For the sixth year, United Methodist Volunteers in Mission from Cal-Nevada will travel to Guatemala this summer for Spanish Immersion training.

A team is forming now and will leave for Quetzaltenango (Xela), Guatemala shortly after the 2008 Annual Conference Session for a three-week stay (which participants may extend if they choose).

The experience will feature one-on-one instruction and complete immersion in the Spanish language and Guatemalan culture.

The cost (approximately $1,300, all-inclusive) is considerably less than for equivalent college studies here in the U.S. and spots fill up fast – so don't delay.
