"Living Our Vision" Conference registration is now open

Online registration is now open for “Living Our Vision: Leadership Skills for an Inclusive Church,” the Western Jurisdiction event taking place Feb. 1-3, 2008, at Centennial United Methodist Church, Sacramento, California. The conference will feature California-Nevada Conference Bishop Beverly J. Shamana, who is President of the General Board of Church and Society, with keynote speaker Dr. Mitch Hammer – an author and president of several consultation and training companies, who frequently provides analysis for the national and international news media. He specializes in helping individuals, teams, and organizations increase their capabilities through effective conflict resolution.


Other participants include the Rev. Keith Andrew Hwang, Executive Director of Connectional Ministries for the California-Pacific Annual Conference, and Kristina Gonzalez, Associate Director of Connectional Ministries for the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference.


The “Living Our Vision” conference is a partnership of the United Methodist Western Jurisdictional College of Bishops, Western Jurisdiction Inter-Ethnic Coordinating Committee, the General Board of Church and Society, and the General Commission on Religion and Race.
