The Sights and Sounds of Annual Conference Session 2007

June 29, 2007

Experience some of the highlights of this year’s Annual Conference Session. DVD copies of the Sunday Morning worship service, featuring the new cantata, “The Good Samaritan: Through the Eyes of the Victim,” composed by Mary K. Jackson with text by Charles Wesley, are available to purchase:

The production incorporates visuals and choral numbers presented at the culminating Communion service on Sunday. Performed by choir members from throughout the Cal-Nevada Conference, it features General Board of Global Ministries' Global Praise Team director ST Kimbrough, and Dr. Derrick Spiva Sr. of this Conference. The cantata was directed by Derrick Spiva Jr.

Derrick Spiva Jr.’s CD “Embraced Destiny” is available for purchase as well:

The DVD of the Committee on Reconciliation luncheon is also available to purchase:

In addition, the 11 minute video “Celebrating Our Diversity and Unity in Christ,” illustrating how churches in the California-Nevada Conference embrace diversity through ministries, is available (one per church) through the office of Communications. For your church’s copy contact Cate Monaghan at (916) 374-1529 or e-mail
